10 days and counting!

Hello from beautiful and burning hot Hutchinson!

Well we are down to 10 days left before the fight.  I have been running, biking, and doing bag workouts everyday for the last 9-10 days.  I will be ready come the 23rd.  Hope to see you there.

I have to go take a drug test tomorrow for a pre-employment drug screening.  I have never been very good at test so we will see.  I think I will be fine on this one! Been 9 1/2 months since I have worked a 'REAL' job.  Trust me when I say I am ready to get back to work.  Not going to disclose the job here as I have a couple other things I am working on at this time.

Looks like I will be getting to take Dylan to Chillicothe with me the weekend of the 23rd.  Excited that nana and papa will be able to spend some time with him as well as aunts, uncles and cousins.  He just doesn't get to see them near enough.  It has been awesome watching him grow over these last 9 1/2 months.  He has went from barely walking to running.  He knows how to say NO NO very well and occasionly will say 'fankou'   aka Thank You and even 'urcum' which I think is Your Welcome.  Occasionly he will tell some pretty long stories that I wish I could understand.  Not sure where he gets his story telling abilities but I can't wait for the day I can understand them.  I fear I will be getting calls from the daycare about him hitting someone as he watches me workout in the basement and he loves to hit the heavybag.  He barely can hold the gloves up and he will put them on and swing them at the bag when I let him.

Have a mini vacation coming up starting August 3rd.  I know how can you take a mini vacation after you have been off work for 9 1/2 months.  Well we had planned a family vacation a few months back for south Missouri to go trout fishing but my family has decided to make the trip a bit easier on me and we will all  be meeting at Milford Lake near Junction City.  It has been a long time since we were all together for a vacation so I am really excited about this.  Not sure what all days I will be able to be there but I will be there as many days as I can. My parents have a 34' rv that they will be taking, my brother Denny and his wife just purchased a 25' pull type trailer that looks brand new in the pics and then I will be taking my pop-up.  I will be making either my dutch oven pizza for everyone or the lasagna.  Maybe both.  I am sure many laughs and a few beverages will be had while there.  Might even get to do some biking with Denny.

Time to shower for the 2nd time today.  Just finished my morning workouts and need to get some work done now.

D-Town out
